RD 1393/2007, modified by RD 861/2010 provides in general, that all official degrees «will conclude with the preparation and defense» of a Final Degree Project (TFG) or Final Master’s Project (TFM), according to the case. Additionally, the orders that regulate the requirements that must be met for the verification of the official qualifications that qualify for the regulated professions of architect or engineer specify that said work must be defended once all the credits of the corresponding study plan have been obtained. The TFG and TFM will consist in the realization of a work or original project in which there are clear knowledge, skills and competences acquired by the student throughout their studies.
